Crypt. Sivadasanii


A type of crypt. that I got from Rajesh at the last Aquarama. It looks like Val. Nana to me at first sight and did not pay much attention to it til Rajesh pointed out to me that it was a Crypt.

The plant is currently doing quite well on the farm and I ma surprised that Crypt. rot did not occur, I hope to be able to cultivate this plant soon. I will post more information as I go along.

    Interesting Cryptocoryne. Do you still cultivate it? The C. sivadasanii has an odd way of propagation by buds on detached roots. http://crypts.home.xs4all.nl/Cryptocoryne/Gallery/siv/siv.html
